About: The Ottawa South United Under-15 girls’ soccer team put the wraps on an impressive season by capturing the OPDL Charity Shield. The Force beat United FA by a score of 2-1 to win the shield on Nov. 4. The title comes at the end of the league’s post-season playoffs but is not considered the league championship.
Earlier in the season the team won that title became the first team from Eastern Ontario to win an OPDL Cup title. They finished the in 2nd place for the league’s championship, awarded to the team with the best regular season record. They led OPDL east division teams with a record of 13-3-4.
