About: Notre Dame High School’s boys basketball team won a silver medal at the OFSAA A championships. The team from the city’s west side entered as the 11 seed and upset 9th ranked Aldershot High School, 8th ranked Villanova High School, No. 1 O’Gorman High School in overtime, and 7th ranked Nicholson Catholic College to make it to the gold medal game. Notre Dame held the lead through three quarters, but ended up losing to Almonte District High School 68-65 in the championship game.
