Football Canada named 5 Ottawa players to its national under-19 team. Arthur Hamlin and Lake Korte-Moore of St. Joseph High School, Jean-Paul Cimankinda of the Ottawa Sooners, Willy Pierre Dimbongi of St. Matthew’s High School, and Zacheru Hynna of the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees were among the 37 players from 8 provinces named to the team. The team will participate in the 2018 International Bowl at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, in Arlington, Texas in January. Football Canada says more players will be named to the team closer to the date of the tournament.
