Caden Griffin was called to the mound for Baseball Canada in its Junior National Team Fall Instruction League.
The 16-year-old Ottawa-Nepean Canadians product made his first appearance for the Junior National Team on Oct. 2 against a group of professional prospects from the Atlanta Braves in Orlando. The left-handed pitcher is no stranger to the big stage. In 2013, he was part of the East Nepean Eagles’ national-champion team that went on to represent Canada at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. Caden is a Grade 11 student at John McCrae Secondary School.
