Slalom paddler lands new worlds personal best

Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games: Day 9 - Canoe SlalomOttawa’s Cam Smedley registered a personal best at the Canoe Slalom World Championships. The 26-year-old paddled his way to an 18th overall finish in the men’s canoe singles at the event held in Pau, France from Sept. 27-Oct. 1. Smedley was only 5.14 seconds behind the top finisher in the semifinal round of the competition. He was just 3 seconds behind making the event’s final round.
