Double bronze for Kanata rhythmic gymnast at Maccabiah Games

Ottawa’s Haley Miller won a pair of bronze medals at the July 4-16 Maccabiah Games (often informally called the Jewish Olympics) in Israel.

Shortly after graduating from Grade 8 at Ottawa Jewish Community School, Miller earned 3rd-place finishes in both the ball and hoop events in the junior rhythmic gymnastics competition.

“She did absolutely incredible and we are so proud of her!” Miller’s Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club wrote on Instagram. “This is an amazing achievement and definitely one to remember.”
