Lions/Gee-Gee runners top Canada Army Run races

Ottawa Lions Track-and-Field Club runner Tommy Des Brisay, a 2020 Paralympic Games hopeful in the category for athletes with intellectual disabilities, was the men’s half-marathon champion in the 2016 Canada Army Run on Sept. 18 in Ottawa.


Competing a day after an invitational race in Montreal, University of Ottawa Gee-Gees cross-country runners Alex Berhe and Katie Phillips were the men’s and women’s champions in the 5k race.
