Carson Turner, Ben Mussell, and Nick Boucher earned silver medals in the open division at the July 22-28 under-23 ultimate world championships in Toronto. Competing for Team Canada, the Ottawa players won nine consecutive victories before losing to the U.S. 14-11 in the final. The Canadian mixed team, featuring Ottawa’s Mathew Goodkey and Sara Lawlor, also settled for silver, while Dominique Rioux, Kaylee Sparks, and Vivianne Fortin won bronze with the Canadian women’s team.
