About: Augusta Eve won a gold medal for the Hillcrest Hawks at the OFSAA provincial high school wrestling championships in early March in Brampton, and then won gold again for the National Capital Wrestling Club at the Canadian championships junior in Edmonton, earning victories over opponents from Orillia (pinfall), Calgary (14-7) and New Brunswick (pinfall) in the women’s 44 kg weight class. A bronze medalist at last year’s Pan American cadet championships in Colombia, Eve is now eyeing August’s junior worlds in Croatia.
