Henry McKay’s broken right foot healed up just enough in time for August’s Speedo Junior Development Nationals in Saskatoon, as the 13-year-old Nepean Ottawa Diving Club athlete won his age group by almost 10 points with a 306.50 score to earn a place on the Canadian team for the Sept. 26-29 Pan American junior diving championships in Arizona.
Making their debuts on the national stage, Timothy Lewis and Emma Corrigan of the Ottawa National Diving Club placed 13th and 20th respectively in their divisions.
