Ottawa alpine skier Dustin Cook got his sophomore season on the World Cup circuit off to a solid start on Oct. 28 in Soelden, Austria, earning a career-best finish.
The 23-year-old Mont Ste. Marie athlete placed amongst the valuable top-30 positions in 22nd spot out of 71 total skiers in the giant slalom event.
