The Ottawa Galley Girls won three silver medals in the top women’s division at the 2012 Tim Horton’s Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival, held June 22-24 at Mooney’s Bay Park.
The Rideau Canoe Club-based team came closest to gold in the 100 m event, coming within .18 seconds of the Montreal Women Elite, who also edged the Galley Girls to the line in the 200 m and 500 m.
