The Ottawa Gymnastics Centre continued to add to its collection of champions March 9-11 at a women’s artistic gymnastics provincial championships qualifier in St. Catharines.
Six OGC athletes topped the all-around standings in their divisions at the event – Grace Boxer (Level 6, Age 10), Rebecca Richardson (Level 6, Age 14+), Sarah Hu (Level 7, Age 10), Adrianka Forrest (Level 7, Age 11), Meaghan Smith (Level 8, Age 12-13) and Bella St George (Level 9, Age 14+).
Also winning medals at the competition were Suzanna Diacomescu, Abby Johnston, Amanda Henderson, Maddison Kelleher-Radey, Mackenzie Connelly, Emma Christie, Bradey Rosettani, Nathalie Joanette, Samantha Prosper, Sofia Baggio, Kelsey Won, Lindsay Hemstock, Kati Dobrei, Mary Villemaire, Brielle Johnston, Lubina Nayak and Holly Nevison, while all other OGC athletes also recorded top-10 results.
The provincial championships will be hosted by the Nepean-Corona club April 19-22 in Ottawa.
