The 38th-annual Head of the Rideau rowing races took place on Sunday, Sept. 25 out of the Rideau Canoe Club on Mooney’s Bay.

The University of Gee-Gees performed well with victories in 3-of-4 singles races and an unblemished record in the women’s doubles events.

Jenna Pelghen was a force in singles, while Mrika Yvonne and Emma Lehmberg helped the U of O women to a strong overall performance with victories in the doubles.

Carleton’s rowing team was winless at the competition dominated by Queen’s University.
