It’s been a painful year all around for Joanna Brown. From not achieving her pre-season goal of a world junior title, an endless number of freak injuries and the mental battle of not being able to train properly when that was the main focus of her life, the Bytown Storm triathlete calls 2011 “a rollercoaster ride” – one that ended with the cast and road rash you see above, compliments of Beijing world junior course.
