George Nelms Sports Park is Ottawa’s premiere soccer facility and home to Ottawa’s premiere soccer club, so it’s no coincidence that it’s also the site of Ottawa’s premiere summer soccer camps – both for recreational and high-performance players.

OSU’s recreational camp for U5 to U12 players is focused on providing kids with the best possible camp and soccer experience. At camp, participants will learn physical literacy and how to play soccer in a fun and exciting environment.

The half-day camp runs for week-long sessions, starting July 4 and ending Aug. 11. Kids will get an OSU t-shirt and will be coached by experienced and trained coaches.

When campers arrive at 9 a.m., they’ll participate in activities that improve their physical literacy and technical soccer skills. Then, after a snack, they’ll play a fun game or sport. To wrap the day up, kids will play an organized soccer game.

There’s no better place to be this summer than OSU. It’s the largest soccer club in Eastern Ontario with close to 7,000 members and is frequently rated as Ontario’s top developmental community soccer club.

OSU also offers a high-performance camp through its Force Academy. Following a daily theme, the camp will provide detailed training overseen by technical coaches. The camp is led by coaches with national certification.

Campers will work on skills including dribbling, turning, shooting, passing and receiving, and running with the ball.

OSU’s International Camps bring some of the world’s top instructors to town for training sessions run by coaches from some of the world’s most famed clubs. This summer, IPC North America’s International Spanish Camps will return to Ottawa from July 24-28.
