The Ottawa South United Force men’s team got tripped up 4-1 by Aurora in their League1 Ontario season opener on May 4 at Quinns Point field in Barrhaven. The OSU men have 3 losses so far, but the Force women have shown no signs of being the rookies they are on the League1 scene, recording victories in all 3 of their contests. A Force player during her youth career, University of Memphis striker Clarissa Larisey shot herself to the top of the goal scorers’ table with a 9-goal effort in her lone appearance – a 13-0 trouncing at home on May 11 against North Mississauga.
